1. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
I grew up in a small country town in Southern NSW called Batlow – famous for apples. I grew up riding my bmx, getting muddy in the dam and breathing in fresh mountain air. So grateful for this upbringing, I like to think that I brought a bit of this into the way I teach and practice yoga. I like to keep it fun, light hearted and real.
2. WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CREATE FLOW ATHLETIC?
I’d had it in my goals to have a studio but thought it would be a long way off until I met Ben Lucas, the other co-founder of the Flow Athletic. He started coming to my classes in North Bondi where I was teaching and before I knew it I was giving him yoga private lessons and he was giving me personal training sessions. Seeing the benefits each were having on our individual athletic pursuits and practice we saw a gap in the market where people were bringing the two philosophies together (yoga and fitness) but no one was maintaining the ‘magic’ of yoga. This is when we knew we had something unique to offer.
3. WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IN AN ALTERNATE LIFE OR CAREER?
Growing up I always loved the idea of being an Olympic swimmer or a marine biologist.
4. WHAT IS THE MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR PLAYLIST?
Right now it’s Bad Blood by Taylor Swift for waking me up in the morning and anything by Ben Howard for the chilled times.
5. WHAT DO YOU DREAM ABOUT?
Delicious travel experiences
6. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE?
“Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication.” Leonardo Da Vinci

My mum sharing conversation and connection with her friends over tea. Although I didn’t really drink it back then, I loved it because it also meant there would be her famous fruit cake or a biscuit to accompany it.
