Cool & hydrate with iced tea – the healthy drink

Delight your friends and family with this Ovvio Organics Iced tea recipe. A good homemade iced tea is a delicious way to cool down and stay hydrated over the warmer months. Adapt this recipe with your favourite tea blends and fruit.

Ingredients:

*4 -6 teaspoons Ovvio Organic Iced Tea
*Boiling water
*Seasonal fruit and fresh herbs

How to make:

Steep tea in 450ml of boiling water. Let cool and continue to steep in fridge overnight for best flavour. Iced tea can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Serve the next day with ice, freshly sliced fruit and fresh herb leaves.

Make a delicious bubbly:

Add sparking mineral water, kombucha or for the indulgent, champagne, for an effervescent and refreshing drink.

Variations:

*Traditional Iced Tea made with Ovvio Organic English Breakfast or Earl Grey Tea. Serve with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves and sweeten to taste with stevia or honey.

*Mulled Christmas Spice Iced Tea made with Ovvio Organics Mulled Christmas Spice Iced Tea or a cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and rosehip based tea. Serve with ice, freshly sliced fruit, fresh herbs and sweeten to taste with honey.

*Fruity Iced Tea made with Ovvio Organics Ruby Heart Berry Iced Tea, Ovvio Organics Summer Pineapple Iced Tea or Ovvio Organics Pear Bergamot Iced Tea or any fruit based tea. Serve with freshly sliced strawberry, pineapple or orange.

***Iced Teas may be sweetened to taste with raw honey or green leaf stevia exception those teas which contain licorice root. They are sweet enough***.
