Chai Tea Flavoured Panna Cotta24th April 2019
A delicious panna cotta, infused with the aromatic spices of chai tea. Always a hit!
3 teaspoons organic chai tea, loose leaf
1 tablespoon real gelatin powder
400mls milk of your choice: dairy, nut or coconut
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/4 teaspoon organic vanilla powder or 1 teaspoon of natural vanilla extract
Add the chai tea to a pot with the milk. Simmer for 5 minutes until the milk is infused by the tea. Strain the tea leaves and pour the milk back into the pot. Stir in the honey, vanilla and gelatin powder until dissolved. Pour into small vessels or a bowl and set in the fridge. Serve with a sprinkling of cinnamon powder.
To make a Chocolate Chai Panna Cotta, simply replace the loose leaf Chai tea with 2 teaspoons of Ovvio Organics Chocolat Chai Powder. There is no need to strain the tea leaves.
